During my placement with Leeds Trinity University’s Media Services, I was assigned to cover the Faculty of Business, Computing & Digital Industries' graduate showcase. Working alongside another placement team member, we filmed the hour-long event using a two-camera setup, while I also captured still photography throughout the seminar. This project came with a tight turnaround—final edits were required by the end of the next business day for immediate use across the faculty’s social media and promotional channels. Despite the fast-paced timeline, we delivered a polished and engaging set of media assets.
The faculty was extremely impressed with the quality of our work, noting that it exceeded the usual standard of event coverage. As a result, we were invited to take on additional photography and videography projects for other departments across the university. This experience offered valuable insight into high-pressure, real-time event production and helped build my confidence in managing deadlines and delivering professional results under time constraints.
