As part of our placement with Leeds Trinity University’s Media Services team, Cally Coxon and I were commissioned to produce a launch video for the Level 6 Photography Exhibition. The video was designed for promotional use across the university’s social media platforms and to showcase the strengths of the photography course.
In preparation, we spent a day planning the shoot and capturing b-roll footage of the exhibition. On the day of the launch, we documented the event in full, gathering both dynamic video content and still photography. To add depth and narrative context, we conducted a follow-up interview with the photography course’s technical demonstrator, which we integrated into the final edit.
Our placement supervisor, Mark Willett, was highly satisfied with the final video, which received strong engagement and positive feedback across the university’s social media channels.
